Tweed Coast Removals – Terms & Conditions

Living the Dream Logistics Pty Ltd t/as Tweed Coast Removals

We aim to make your move simple, safe and stress-free.
These Terms & Conditions explain how our service works, what you can expect from us, and what we need from you.
By booking with Tweed Coast Removals, you agree to the terms below.

1. Before Your Move

We may decline certain items or jobs if they are unsafe or unsuitable to transport.
Please provide accurate information about your move, including access, load size, dates and any special requirements.
This helps us quote correctly and plan the right vehicle and team.

You confirm that you own the goods being moved or that you have permission from the owner.

2. Being Present on Moving Day

You or an authorised representative must be present during pickup and delivery.
This ensures clear instructions and correct placement of items.

If no one is available and we can’t deliver, your goods may be placed into storage and extra charges will apply.

3. Items We Cannot Move

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:

  • firearms and ammunition

  • hazardous, flammable, explosive or corrosive items

  • chemicals or toxic materials

  • items likely to attract pests

  • perishable foods

If you are unsure about an item, please contact us before moving day.
If dangerous goods are found after collection, we may dispose of them safely without liability.

4. Access & Ensuring Nothing Is Left Behind

Please ensure that all access points are safe, clear and legal for our truck and team.
We recommend double-checking cupboards, sheds, drawers and storage areas to make sure nothing is left behind.

5. How We Transport Your Goods

We select the most practical and safe route based on the conditions, schedule and road environment.

6. Delays Outside Our Control

While we always aim to arrive and finish on time, delays can sometimes occur due to:

  • weather

  • delays caused by third parties

Additional time caused by such delays is charged at the normal hourly rate.

7. Wet Weather, Safety & Property Conditions

Safety is our top priority.
We may pause, reschedule or refuse a move where:

  • severe weather makes moving unsafe,

  • conditions could damage your belongings,

  • the property is hazardous, unsafe or unhygienic.

This protects your items and ensures compliance with QLD Work Health & Safety laws.

To secure your booking, a $150 deposit is required.
A 1.9% card surcharge applies to all card payments.
